Contribute Your Image to the Project.
This installation is not simply an artwork to be presented to the public. Rather, it is a structure by which we all can participate in a creative act as a community. What would you like your visual contribution to be? Some will want to commemorate a loved one or a hero. Others will want to offer an image of hope and reconciliation. We will accept any image - a photo, a drawings, or even a text - that captures your response to the events of September 11.
You can also help us by spreading the word about the project. The broader our call for images, the more diverse, inclusive, and unifying the work will become.
The deadline by which we would like to receive images is Friday, November 9. Images can be sent to us by mail, hand-delivered, or if necessary, by email.
By Mail or Hand
We would prefer camera-ready "hardcopy" images to digital files whenever possible, to avoid the added cost and labor for us to print hundreds of color-images.
