Message Expiry
Messages expire after 120 days.  There are two ways to prevent this from happening.  The first option is to backup the message.  The second option is to change the expiration date of the message. To do this you must 'Get Info' or 'Properties' for the message (the nomenclature differs from Mac to PC, respectively).  To get 'Get Info' (Mac) or 'Properties' (PC), the steps are the same.

1) Message Backup
To backup a message, do ONE of the following
-With the message open, go to the 'File' Menu and select 'Save as' and save to the desired folder (note, the default folder is the FC Download folder - don't save it there)
-Highlight the message or messages and select 'Download' from the 'File' menu again selecting the desired folder
-Verify that backup was a success

Note: You may also 'Summarize Messages' in to a text file.  Directions for summarizing and additional information on FC backup can be found in
'Mailbox Housekeeping'

2) Change Expiry
Highlight the message and do ONE of the following:
-Right click with mouse and select 'Get Info' or 'Properties'
-Go to the file menu and select 'Get Info' or 'Properties'
-In the message's 'Info'/'Properties' panel change the 'Expiry Period' from 'Default' to desired expiration time.

Storage Limits
Each user receives 30 megabytes (mb) of storage.  This includes storage for your sent and received messages, documents, uploads, and
home page.

To check how much space you are using do the following*:
-Go to 'All MECA'
-Go to 'Technology'
-Click 'Disk Use'

*Note this only works via the Desktop Client and not through web client.

The number listed is in kilobytes (k), to figure out the MB, drop the last three numbers.  In the illustration to the right, this user has used 13mb and has about 17mb of storage left.

Container Limits
Also, the maximum number of "Addressable items" you may have in a container (mailbox, conference or folder) is 1792.  You will not be able to receive messages after you have reached that limit.  To solve this problem, delete messages or place messages in folders within you mailbox.  For more information please read:
